Partnerships

Support from all stakeholders is needed for the achievement of students’ and families’ personal/social and academic goals. JHS and its partners share responsibility and ownership of addressing students’ challenges and successes by maximizing resources through collaboration and expertise.

Community partnerships are utilized to increase the academic and social well-being of students and families.  JHS focuses on five program components modeled after Joyce L. Epstein’s “Six Types of Involvement” Framework (Epstein, 2009).

  1. Identification and Categorization of Resources and Stakeholders

  2. Resource Use and Maximization

  3. Communication Protocols

  4. Community Partnerships

  5. Family Participation
