Academic Achievement

JHS academics are founded on mastery of learning standards and pre-collegiate studies. The curricula framework is aligned with state standards, emphasizes literacy and numeracy skills building, incorporates evidence-based practices and promotes relevant interactions with classroom material. 

The student to teacher ratio is approximately 12:1. Students receive the academic benefits of small classrooms and individualized learning plans. JHS’s academic support emphasizes Special Education services, timely interventions, and data-driven, personalized instruction.
